U.G. Healthcare USA Inc. was established in 1988 to import and distribute medical grade gloves from our factory, N.S. UniGloves Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia. Our UniGlove products are distributed worldwide from our warehouses in Malaysia, California and Germany. We have expanded our factory several times and presently are completing a new factory incorporating the latest technology that will expand our capacity by one-third. Our commitment has been to provide the highest quality products possible, at a fair price. As a result, since 1988, we have developed an extremely loyal customer base of primarily medical users: hospitals, doctors, dentists, medical clinics & laboratories. Over the years the affects of long-term use and, in particular latex allergies, has been the primary concern of both users and responsible manufacturers. The dilemma for all is to continue to provide the best hand protection while minimizing the risk of long-term use. As the technology to accomplish this evolves, we are continually incorporating this technology into our products. To date, latex gloves remain the best compromise for protection, cost and environmental concerns. As a concerned manufacturer and distributor, we have done the following to provide the best protection while minimizing the risks to our customers: 1. We are FDA registered and conform to and follow FDA GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). 2. Our factory has ISO 9002 and European CE certification. 3. Our powder-free products conform to the more rigid standards set by the Malaysian Rubber Board under the Standard Malaysian Glove (SMG) program. SMG certification requires that all of our powder-free gloves contain a water-soluble protein content of less than 50 micrograms per glove. 4. For those individuals who cannot use latex products, we have added non-latex alternatives, vinyl and nitrile examination gloves. 5. We have recently introduced our Lano-E low protein, powder-free glove to reduce the affects of normal skin irritation from long-term use. These gloves contain an inner coating of Lanolin and Vitamin E to soothe and soften the skin. While all gloves may look the same, concerned buyers are aware that cost and safety are not mutually exclusive determinants in the purchase decision.
